1.6 legend returns to CSGO as a Coach

1.6 legend Minet will be making a return to the professional Counter Strike scene. He has signed an agreement with Team Hydras to join them in the role of a Coach.

You can read their official announcement below :

Today is a very good day, we are proud to announce that Hydras Esport have landed Oliver ‘minet’ Minet as our CS:GO coach. We have been searching for a coach who could take us to the next level in CS:GO and with the agreement with Oliver we have found the person who are able to push us to the limits and beyond.

Oliver has been representing teams like the Danish national CS 1.6 team in the Olympics in China 2008 and also been playing for teams like AirWalkers & MTW, so there is a lot of experience we can use to take it to the next level i CS:GO.

Our old coach on our CS:GO team Daniel ‘phellox’ Hultmann are going to help us with our upcoming League of Legend team, since Daniel’s has a history coaching LCS team in Denmark, and we would be stupid not to use his expertise in our organisation where he shines the most.

So we are really happy and confident that or rotation in Hydras Esport is actually a positive thing and it will take us to higher levels in all our games and of course looking forward to see the results of our new approach on both games and of course to see positive results in near future.

That is a direct quote from their website.

Team Hydras is not a high skilled team as many would have expected Minet to join. It is a fairly new organisation ( it started in 2015). The team is based of Denmark and with the plethora of players available from Denmark they will have a tough time trying to achieve their “Goal” . They aim to break into the Top 20 of Danish CSGO soon.

What do you think about this move? Considering how well known Minet was and many would say still is, Is this move disappointing?
