Riot has released the names of another 4 teams in the 2018 NA LCS
As the NA LCS moves towards a league system in 2018, Riot has released yet another few names that have been approved. These teams have purchased their positions in the NA LCS, where their position will be cemented as relegation is removed.
The 4 spots have gone to some big players, 3/4 of which are now owned by traditional sporting teams. It comes as a shock since investors coming from larger traditional sporting organisations tend to purchase majority stake / take over pre-existing teams. However, 3 of the 4 organisations will be creating their new teams from scratch.
New approved teams:
Clutch Gaming (Houston Rockets)
100 Thieves (Cleveland Cavaliers )
Golden Guardians (Golden State Warriors)
