There have been reports that StarCraft legend “Life” has taken part in match fixing in his StarCraft tournaments.
The official report charged 2 players with match fixing has not yet revealed the names of the 2 players, however, it is known that player “life” was arrested in relation to a match fixing investigation.
Life has allegedly received 70,000,000 Korean won for his deed, which is roughly just over $60,000 USD. This was paid to him to allegedly intentionally throw his 2 games in the KeSPA Cup matches in May 2015. Life did end up winning the KeSPA Cup in 2015, but the two games he lost was against Ha “Terminator” Jae Sang and Cho “Dream” Joong Hyuk.
It has also been suspected that the second culprit is to be Jung “Bbyong” Woo Yong who was allegedly paid 30,000,000 Korean won worth roughly$2600 USD to throw his game to Park “DongRaeGu” Soo Ho in GSL 2016.
