Group Stage Previews :

Virtus Pro vs Team Immunity

The Polish team comes into the match following a very lacklustre performance at the Katowice and ESL Pro League Season 3 matches. Team Immunity on the other hand have the surprise factor working for them. Their anonymity looks to be their X factor in this match, however a lot will depend on which Virtus Pro will turn up. NaVi vs Flipsid3

NaVi have had a pretty decent 2016 so far. With a few LAN wins and some playoff spots under their belt, they will be looking to gain another title for their trophy case. However facing them are the strongest underdogs Flipsid3. Flipsid3, with the new roster have been knocking at the doors of tier one teams and it would not surprise many if they cause a potential upset in this match.

Astralis vs Torpedo Gaming

Astralis seem to have been given the easiest group stage matchup. Torpedo Gaming should not be able to provide any resistance against the Danish team.

This would be an insurmountable task for Torpedo and it would indeed be quite an upset if they do manage a win here.

Team EnVyUs vs NRG Gaming

This will be the first LAN match for the new Team EnVyUs Roster. With the addition of Devil they will be looking put all their practice into good use coming into this match against NRG. NRG on the other hand are not to be taken lightly. They have been playing really well in online matches but it remains to be seen if they can carry the form forward to the LAN finals in Croatia.

The hot favorites for the tournament are Astralis and EnVyUs, with NaVi being a close third. However considering the single elimination format of the event, we might be surprised by either NRG or Flipsid3.
