EnVyUs and Astralis are matched up against each other in the ESL Pro league Season 3 Match to be held on the 12th of March 2016 at 18:00 CET on the map of Train.
EnVyUs’ new roster is looking pretty convincing although they did lose their first ever matchup against Gamers2 EnVyUs managed a very good second match against Flipsid3. The French side have really been dominating winning 16-7 and 16-9. Both are good maps for Flipsid3 and the win from EnVyUs definitely shows a strong resolve to win after they lacked the motivation to play properly during IEM Katowice (evidenced by the video Interview of NBK). Traditionally French sides become motivated only after a roster change and more often than not, its EnVyUs that has come out on top after roster shuffles.
Train is generally not one of the best maps for EnVyUs. However in the past few weeks Train has jumped from being their 6th best map to their 4th best map. They have seen improvements on Train, however whether its enough to defeat Astralis is doubtful.
Astralis generally win matches on Train. However that being said, they almost never choose Train as a first pick. It’s a map that they are comfortable on, but not confident enough to pick it when they have a chance. Astralis has played Train 4 times in 2016, winning two and losing two matches. The last time they played Train was against EnVyUs which they won 16-11 but this was a period when EnVyUs were on the brink of a roster change and they had no motivation to play properly. The team members were not listening to calls made by the IGL and the players in general were just YOLO’ing the game.
The odds for Astralis might be high in this match. The risk of betting on either team is quite similar to be honest. As such it makes more sense to bet on the underdogs (EnVyus) and have a lower risk to a higher reward.
The Prediction : 60%-40% Astralis
The Bet : Low on EnVyUs (It is a risky bet)
