Gamsu : Smittyj

Spirit : Wisdom

Febiven : xPePii

Rekkles : SONSTAR

Klaj : G0DFRED

After a strong showing at IEM Katowice, coming in a strong 2nd place behind SKT, Fnatic are looking stronger than they have all season. Klaj and Rekkles seem to be a working duo in the bot lane, and Febiven is really stepping up as a solo laner.

Giants have had many roster swaps, but with an extra weeks worth of practise, they may have built up some synergy. With the new ability in top, jungle and AD carry, Giants may be able to upset Fnatic by pulling out interesting picks, or by running a different strategy.

Overall, it is highly likely that Fnatic win this, due to their mechanical skill being much better in every lane, and they have played as as a team much longer than the current Giants roster.

Chance of victory: Fnatic: 85% : Giants: 15%

H2K vs. Roccat – EU LCS – Week 8 – Day 1 – Preview

H2K vs. Roccat are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 – Week 8 – Day 1

      Odoamne : fredy122

Jankos : Airwaks

Ryu : Betsy

Vander : Noxiak

H2K are currently a super dominant team, situated at the top of the standings, and their game play shows it. As a team they are controlling in all lanes and each person is able to carry if others aren’t able to. Odoamne, as shot caller is doing a good job, and is able to lead his team to victory.

For Roccat, with new support Noxiak, and recent substitute Tabzz, they seem to be able to pick up more wins. By putting Tabzz into the solo carry role, using team compositions such as protect the Kog Maw, or Kalista team comps, they can use him to deal a lot of damage and carry their fights. Their weak point is arguably fredy122, who hasn’t been performing at his peak, but if the team can cover his weaknesses, then they can perform well.

Overall, it is expected for H2K to win, as they are mechanically better in each lane, and have played together for much longer than Roccat.

Chance of victory: H2K: 75% : Roccat: 25%

Unicorns of Love vs. Origen – EU LCS – Week 8 – Day 1 – Preview

Unicorns of Love vs. Origen are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 – Week 8 – Day 1

Vizicsacsi : SoaZ

Loulex : Amazing

Fox : PowerOfEvil

Steeelback : Zven

Hylissang : Mithy

UOL are currently a 2nd tier team, behind the likes of G2, H2K and Vitality, so they are likely to clinch a playoff spot. However, if they want to go for a higher seed, or even a playoff bye, they will need to pick up all possible wins, and this is such a game, Origen have been weak recently, and UOL can capitalise on their weak early game.

For OG, they need to put all their focus onto letting Zven carry. If champions like Lulu, Alistar or Janna are available, they need to pick them up to protect Zven. If they can make a solid protect the Kog Maw composition, they could potentially get the win. They also seem to get a few wins from splitpush/backdooring, by distracting the enemy team and letting SoaZ kill the nexus before they realise.

Overall, this game should be somewhat close, but I expect that OG’s shotcalling is more likely to falter than UOL’s, meaning they could throw in the late game, or make too many mistakes and allow UOL to get a lead that they can’t come back from.

Chance of victory: Unicorns of Love: 60% : Origen: 40%

Team Vitality vs. G2 Esports – EU LCS – Week 8 – Day 1 – Preview

Team Vitality vs. G2 Esports are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 – Week 8 – Day 1

G2 gaming

Cabochard : Kikis

Shook : Trick

Nukeduck : Perkz

Hjarnan : Emperor

kaSing : Hybrid

This will be a clash of titans, both are top tier teams and getting a win here is likely to let them clinch the top 2 spots.

For Vitality, Cabochard is a great carry in the top lane, from champions like Gankplank to Lucian, Shooks presence around the top lane lets him safely play aggressively and gain leads off of his opponents. Nukeduck plays many champions well, and Hjarnan and kaSing are a great duo in the bot lane, who are able to carry them team too.

G2 play an extremely aggressive style, pushing for kills and towers where other teams would not. Other teams haven’t punished their play, but with an extra week to review, Vitality might be able to unpack their style and beat them. However, Perkz in the midlane plays many champions, allowing his team to play many different comps, and Emperor is a very consistent AD carry, dealing out tonnes of damage in every fight.

Overall, this will be a very tough game, and whoever wins will most likely get one of the top two spots.

Chance of victory: Team Vitality: 55% : G2 Esports: 45%

Elements vs. Splyce – EU LCS – Week 8 – Day 1 – Preview

Elements vs. Splyce  are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 – Week 8 – Day 1

Elements vs. Splyce

Steve : Wunderwear

Gilius : Trashy

Eika : Sencux

MrRalleZ : Kobbe

Sprattel: Nisbeth

Here, we have a clash of two lower tier teams, fighting to clinch the 7th place spot, which prevents teams going into the relegation tournament, whoever wins this game is likely to secure that spot.

For Elements, Steve in the top lane is able to carry on champions like Fiora, splitpushing his way to towers and gold advantage. Eika has played well on control mages, but seems to lack game sense, as he teleports to dying towers, giving away needless deaths in the process.

However, on Splyce’s side, their midlane has been strong, Sencux is the main carry for the team, and has made countless plays, which either secured wins, or brought the team back into the game. However, their top and bot lane have been somewhat weaker, and have been the cause for many losses.

Chance of victory: Elements: 60% : Splyce: 40%
