First four invites to Northern Arena revealed

Northern Arena

Northern Arena is headed to Montreal, Quebec this November and fans will be seeing some new and familiar faces attending this time around. The first four teams that will be attending the event are as follows: EnVyUs, Heroic, Team Liquid, and NRG Esports.

Heroic and NRG both attended Northern Arena Toronto and managed to do very well. Heroic placed 3rd overall, taking home $15,000. NRG Esports, although being eliminated in the Group Stage by CLG, played phenomenal and will only look to improve their placing this time around.

Newcomers EnVyUs and Team Liquid have their eyes set on the generous $100,000 prize pool, but they will need to prepare extensively to compete against the other top-tier teams that will be fighting for that same reason.

The early matches of the Northern Arena Montreal 2016 CS:GO Finals presented by Bell will be live streamed on Twitch for fans to watch online. The finals on November 13th will not only be streamed online, but will take place at the world-famous Bell Centre where thousands of fans can watch the cheer on and meet their favourite teams and players! On-site there will also be partner booths showcasing their latest technology and tons of cool fan giveaways.

Northern Arena Montreal 2016 is already showing a good mix of North American and European talent and four CS:GO teams are still to be announced, three of which will be invited and one that will have to earn their spot via Call of the North.
