Fnatic have acquired the services of Disco Doplan. The Swedish rising star who has been on the radar of the top level teams for quite sometime was a member of Team Epsilon. With Fnaticś recent struggles to win matches and score points in several leagues, they have made a roster change which sees the Wenton leave the team and make way for Disco Doplan.
The announcement reads as :
Today, we are excited to announce the acquisition of Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun from Epsilon eSports. Joakim has been on our radar for a long time, he has proved himself as one of the best rising talents in Sweden and is someone who we believe holds phenomenal skill and potential. Despite his limited experience in the competitive scene he has shown that he can compete at a high level and we feel that he will be a great fit for our roster.
Joakim’s arrival means that we must say goodbye to one of our current players. John “wenton” Eriksson originally joined our CS:GO team as a stand-in back in March this year, he then rejoined us during our roster shuffle a few months ago. We already want to thank him for his service and wish him all the best as he looks to continue his career elsewhere.
Vuggoś thoughts on Disco Doplan :
Acquiring disco doplan calls for an exciting future, he has proven himself to be worthy at the top and has great potential to become even better. Having to say goodbye to wenton in the process is tough however, we all like him very much and wish him all the best and good luck for the future.
I really appreciate this opportunity from Fnatic and I hope we will achieve great things together. I believe we have a really strong lineup at the moment and I’m anxious to start playing to become one of the best teams in the world.
