Former fnatic member Harley “dsn” Örwall has been installed as coach of B.O.O.T., the Chinese team have announced.
dsn had retired from the game in 2011. He was a professional counter strike player for more than a decade. During this time, he has played for various teams such as xPerience.se, Begrip Gaming, EYEballers and last but not the least Fnatic.
In a statement, dsn said ;
“I feel really happy to come back to Counter-Strike, this time as a coach for the Chinese team B.O.O.T,” Örwall said in a statement.
“A while back I was approached by a friend who I got to know during my time in Fnatic, and he asked me if I would be interested in coaching the team he worked for.
“After a lot of thinking, as well as visiting the team’s training house in Shanghai, I came to the conclusion that this would be a fun challenge for me.
“We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve and we hope that an improved training regime, coupled with hard work, can speed up our improvement process moving forward.
“I think to be a part of Chinese e-sports at this point in time is very exciting, and moving to Shanghai will also be beneficial for one of my personal goals, to speak fluent Chinese, a project I set out on nine months ago.”
