G2 Esports vs. Giants are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Friday, March 11, 2016 – Week 8 – Day 2
Kikis : Smittyj
Trick : Wisdom
Perkz : xPePii
Emperor : SONSTAR
Hybrid : G0DFRED
G2’s aggressive style have left many teams without enough time to react, punishing any mistakes, allowing them to gain leads and advantages in situations where other teams simply cannot. G2 can try to gain wins over their other top tier opponents, by winning this match, which should be relatively simple, as long as they don’t get complacent, and respect their opponents.
For Giants, their 3 new substitues could provide a surprise in place style and picks, allowing Giants to change up G2’s aggresvie style by putting them on the back foot by getting an early advantage. However, whether they can communicate well enough to do so will be interesting to see as xPePii speaks mainly Spanish, Wisdom is from Korea and SmittyJ is from Germany.
Overall, it is expected that G2 should win this game, based off their roster being generally superior, and the fact that they have played as a team for longer than Giants’ roster has. However, there is a small chance of an upset.
Chance of victory: G2 Esports: 80% : Giants: 20%
