Giants gaming

A battle of the bottom teams, both will desperately need a win in order to climb to the higher spots in the relegation tournament, ensuring that their seeding is higher. Giants need to catch up to Roccat, and if they win they will win the head to head, meaning if they finish tied with Roccat, they will be placed higher. Giants should work on communicating as a team more fluidly, so that they know what to do at all times. Smittyj has been able to outplay ganks, but isn’t able to beat other top laners in 1v1 fights, but could be able to get the best of fredy122 as he often plays tank champions. The rest of the team have some individual skill, but whether or not they can use that together to overcome Roccat is yet to be seen.

On the other side, Roccat need this win or they risk slipping into 10th place, which brings a much harder challenge in the relegation tournament as the 10th place team has to win 2 best of 5 matches just to make it back into the LCS. With Tabzz and Noxiak, their botlane is very strong, and by using hyper carries such as Kog Maw, they have a chance of playing a “protect the ADC” composition.

Overall, both these teams are likely to make mistakes, or miss capitalising on their enemy’s misplays, meaning that both teams could throw, counter throw, or not catch their enemies throws, meaning the game is likely to be sloppy. As such the game could literally go either way.

Chance of victory: Giants: 50% : Roccat: 50%
