IEM Sydney schedule announced

Book your tickets now! It will be a killer event

Organizers of the IEM Sydney event has officially announced their full event schedule. The whole tournament will feature 8 team in total which have confirmed their attendance. Some of these teams are the biggest names in competitive cs.go, they include SK Gaming, Vici Gaming and Faze to name a few. The first two days have been announced to be hosted online and will decide which team will advance to the semi finals. The semi-finals and the finals matches will be held at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia and will likely attract thousands to the event.

Day 1 – Wednesday, May 1 (BO1)

  • 05:00 North vs.  OpTic
  • 06:10 SK vs.  ViCi
  • 07:20 Astralis vs.  Chiefs
  • 08:30 FaZe vs.  Renegades
  • 09:40 Second Round, Match 1 (Teams TBA)
  • 10:50 Second Round, Match 2 (Teams TBA)
  • 12:00 Second Round, Match 3 (Teams TBA)
  • 13:10 Second Round, Match 4 (Teams TBA)

Only the day 1 tournament matches have been released, as the remaining matches will comprise of the more successful teams from Day 1. There is no doubt this will be an action packed tournament, as the teams that are attending this year are bigger than ever. It is extremely rare tournaments are hosted in Australia, so if you’re in the vicinity, be sure to book before the tickets sell out!

My predictions for the top two teams are SK and FaZe. While some may argue Astralis deserve to be in the top two, SK and FaZe have always been strong and are performing great in the recent months.
