Fnatic dropped into the losers bracket after losing the first match against Qiao Gu Reapers. In the losers semifinal they met Counter Logic Gaming and won in a best-of-three set, losing the first game. They advanced into the losers final and faced Qiao Gu Reapers, winning the set 2-1.
Royal Never Give Up look to be the favourites for this match after their walk through the group stage. Meanwhile Fnatic has been improving with each game and look to be the giant killers yet again.

Team SoloMid vs SK Telecom T1
Team SoloMid was the cause of face palming all across the world after their massive throw to ESC Ever Friday night. Dropping into the losers bracket, they faced Origen in a best-of-three set; winning games one and three. They advanced into the losers final defeating ESC Ever 2-0 in a convincing fashion. Team SoloMid will play against the tournament favourites SK Telecom T1 who swept through the group stage disposing of both Counter Logic Gaming and Qiao Gu Reapers.
SK Telecom T1 look to defeat the reigning champions of IEM Katowice. Both teams are looking to prove that they are one of the best teams in the world, despite their inconsistent regular season.
