NRG Esports has announced they have fired their former manager Maxwell Bateman. This follows surrounding rumors and allegations that he assaulted his ‘close friend’ and twitch streamer, Dezaray Luna. The streamer claims she was lead to Bateman’s house before being sexually assaulted while being intoxicated (implies possibility of a drug as well).
The organisation has taken swift action Maxwell to preserve their reputation. That said, their decision to fire Bateman comes always a week following the allegations, its likely they’ve investigated this issue and determined that this is not mere slander.
