Origen vs Fnatic are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Friday, March 18, 2016 – Week 9 – Day 2
SoaZ : Gamsu
Amazing : Spirit
PowerOfEvil : Febiven
Zven : Rekkles
Mithy : Klaj
The mid table battle between last year’s best of EU, Origen and Fnatic have not been at their best form, compared to the other top tier teams in EU.
For Origen, with a 2-0 week last week, xPeke in the line-up should boost confidence in the team, and give them some useful replays to watch, and see where they’ve been going wrong. They have a chance to move up behind Vitality, into 4th place, which would really help their run during playoffs. Hopefully with POE back in the mid lane, they will have learnt from their games with xPeke and are able to apply that to this weeks game.
Fnatic lost to Vitality last week and will want to go for 4th place in order to get the highest seeding possible in playoffs. They have been dominant in their games since IEM, showing good communication and synergy and working well with each other. Febiven has been performing well recently, and could be a playmaker against the struggling POE. Rekkles and Klaj have also been a consistent bot lane, Klaj is able to keep Rekkles alive and dealing damage, whilst also providing utility to the rest of the team.
Overall, I give an edge to Fnatic, but Origen’s late game has been very good, giving comebacks and splitpushing their way to victory, meaning they have a chance to beat them.
Chance of victory: Origen: 45% : Fnatic: 55%
