Renegades vs. Team Dignitas are matched up against each other for the North American League of Legends Challenger Series to be held Sunday February 28, 2016 in Day 2, Week 7 of the competition.
RF Legendary : Billyboss
Crumbz : Kirei
Alex Ich : Shiphtur
Freeze : Apollo
Hakuho : KiwiKid
Both teams need wins to either escape auto relegation, or to get into playoffs respectively. This game is very important for both teams, as if Renegades can get the win, they boost themselves up while dragging a team near to them down, whereas for Dignitas, this is one of the easier games they will play, so gives them the best chance of getting a win.
For Renegades, they should focus on shutting down Shiphtur and Apollo, as Billyboss is likely to play a tank like Malphite, who can land an ultimate and still be useful, whereas shutting down Apollo or Shiphtur delays them from carrying, and allows them a way into the game.
On Dignitas’ side, they need to shut down Freeze, as he is the main (only?) carry threat from Renegades. Crumbz has been performing poorly recently, and Alex Ich, while consistent, isn’t up to the high standard of other EU mid laners.
Overall, based on the team standings and rosters, Dignitas is better suited to the current meta and playstyle, allowing them to get the win.
Chance of victory: Renegades: 30% : Team Dignitas: 70%
