SK Telecom T1 vs. Counter Logic Gaming are matched up against each other for the League of Legends tournament hosted by IEM Katowice to be held Monday, March 14, 2016 – Group B – Game 1
Duke : Darshan
Bengi : Xmithie
Faker : Huhi
Bang : Stixxay
Wolf : Aphromoo
As reigning world champions, SKT are still a formidable force, even after losing top laner and worlds MVP, Marin. They still have 4 of their 5 previous members, so beating them will be tough for CLG. SKT should look at Xmithie as the weakest member of CLG, and try to focus on creating a lead either by having deep wards to prevent Xmithie’s ganks, and create more routes for Bengi, or by catching Xmithie in his jungle, or stealing away his camps. I feel that Faker should out-match Huhi in the midlane, potentially getting solo kill(s) and have more of an impact later in the game. Also, the bot lane for CLG is a lot weaker than that of SKT. Bang and Wolf have played together for a long time, whereas Stixxay is new this year. Unless SKT make huge mistakes, CLG are going to have a rough time this game, and are unlikely to win.
Chance of victory: SK Telecom T1: 80% : Counter Logic Gaming: 20%
