Team Vitality has announced they will be signing player “SteeelbacK” once Riot approves the arrangement.

Following the extremely disappointing season in the Summer Split placing a mere 7th place and being unable to attend worlds, Vitality looked for new talent to help further the organization. This was sought in the form of player “Steeelback”, a young French ADC player who started his professional career at only 18. “Steeelback” has represented many teams over his time, including major organizations such as Fnatic, Gambit Gaming, Unicorns of Love and ROCCAT.
Steeelback stated that :
“I’m both happy and excited to join Team Vitality. Following a disappointing season, I want more than ever to be part of 2017 World Championship and I feel it’s something that I might be able to do here. Also, even if it didn’t really impacted my choice, it would be fantastic to offer to French supporters the first participation of an organization from our country in World Championship since creation of LCS.”
Vitality mentioned that “changes had to be made before entering the 2017 season”, and the main reason for the decision to sign Steeelback was due to his exceptional “individual skill” displayed in “great abilities in the past seasons “.
It is not clear what the future holds for Vitality’s current ADC “Police”, but it is likely that he will be dropped once Riot approves of Steeelback. Vitality is a relatively new team, so I doubt they will be willing to make “Police” a substitute player.
