Team SoloMid vs. Renegades are matched up against each other for the North American League of Legends Challenger Series to be held Saturday March 13, 2016 in Day 2, Week 8 of the competition.
Hauntzer : Seraph
Svenskeren : Crumbz
Bjergsen : Ninja
Doublelift : Freeze
Yellowstar : Hakuho
TSM are looking to try and get either a playoffs bye, or a higher seeding going into playoffs. They will need to pick up all their remaining games to give them the best chance. They can target this game as a somewhat easy win, as long as they stay on track. Hauntzer as he says he really enjoys 1 v 1’ing people and outplaying his opponents so if they communicate well, and allow Hauntzer to split push this should be an easy game. If TSM play their own game and don’t let Renegades get an early lead, they should be able to close out the game.
Renegades, have shown that their early game is up to par, as long as they’re not executing to Rift Herald, they have shown that even against Immortals, they can create an impact. But they seem to falter in the mid game, losing leads and not being able to snowball. If they can work on warding and communication, which would help with pushing their lead, then they have a chance to win.
However, I expect that TSM should win this, as long as they are careful not to lose a lead early, and they can play their own game.
Chance of victory: Team SoloMid: 80% : Renegades: 20%
