Team Vitality vs. Splyce are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Series to be held Friday, March 18, 2016 – Week 9 – Day 2
Cabochard : Wunderwear
Shook : Trashy
Nukeduck : Sencux
Hjarnan : Kobbe
kaSing : Nisbeth
After losing to G2 last week Vitality are looking to catch up to H2K and will be looking to this game for a win. In each lane they are mechanically superior, and as long as they keep Sencux, who is the biggest playmaker for Splice hands down, they can control the game and set the pace they want to. I hope Cabochard is put onto a more carry focused champion than last week, as he has shown he is able to carry his team if given enough resources and pressure. Overall, their team is very good at their macro game, with Shaunz, their coach, picking out exceptional team compositions, ensuring his team is ready to win, and that they know what they’re doing.
For Splyce, they will need to stay in 7th place to secure their spot in the Summer Split and they’ll need to either match, or beat Elements to do so. However, it will be difficult for them to win this. They will have to play almost flawlessly, and capitalise on every one of the few mistakes that Vitality makes. They need to make sure that Cabochard does not get rolling, as he can be a formidable opponent. They also need to shut down the team carries and playmakers, which basically means everyone on Vitality. Their hope would be to get Sencux fed, and letting Kobbe reach lategame and dish out the damage from range.
Chance of victory: Team Vitality: 80% : Splyce: 20%
