TSM transfers Overwatch roster to compLexity Gaming

TSM has signed their Overwatch roster to compLexity Gaming shortly after signing the squad late July following community backlash.

This decision follows a reddit post from a redditor creating a post titled “How are we all STILL content that torkTJO and nicolasTJO, known CS:GO cheaters, are currently playing in competitive leagues?”

The post talks about how 2 members from the roster Jake “torkTJO” Lepoff and Nicolas “NicolasTJO” Aubin were known csgo cheater which were previously banned from csgo competitive play. WIth the return to the Overwatch scene as shown by members of the community, they have been targeted as cheats, and the community does not wish for “competitive leagues” to support these players.

Due to the backlash from the community, TSM has decided to sign the roster to complexity Gaming, a professional gaming organization with teams in the Counter Strike Global Offensive, DotA2, and Call of Duty scene. The roster has been performing well and are one of the ebst in the community, and the sole reason for the transfers was stated by Reginald “As a brand, TSM has always been about hard work and performance. I did not want our legacy to be associated with allegations of dubious behavior and I will always hold my brand to the highest standard”.

Nicolas “NicolasTJO” Aubin response reddit post.

I hope the community will gradually accept these players, as I’m sure they will not repeat their mistakes and cheat again. “NicolasTJO” made a statement on reddit that “tork and I did make a mistake in our past in another game, and it’s something we’ve regretted to this day and always will regret”. He wrote that “There is no one to blame but ourselves and we hope we can get a fresh start in Overwatch and gain your trust back over time.”

There is no doubt the roster is very skilled and I expect that with this roster, compLexity will dominate the Overwatch scene.
