Unicorns of Love vs. Fnatic are matched up against each other for the European League of Legends Challenger Series to be held Sunday February 14, 2016 in Day 2, Week 5 of the competition.
Although known in 2015 as the team that played a “chaos” style, Unicorns of Love have since evolved. On paper they are a team without any standout players, except Diamondprox who cannot currently play due to visa issues, they have much improved their macro player coming into the new year. Along with G2, Unicorns of Love are making good decisions around objectives that are able to helping them secure the wins they are getting.
Fnatic have recently made a roster change, subbing out Noxiak for Klaj in the support role. Fnatic released information stating that Noxiak was unable to synergize well with Rekkles , and was similarly unable to fill the shot-calling hole left by YellOwStaR. Klaj is an unproven player with little competitive experience, and being primarily a solo queue player it will be interesting how Fnatic now tackles with their lack of shot-calling.
It may well be a close game, however Unicorns of Love seem to be more rounded and with an already flawed Fnatic bringing in a new player, it will be questionable how well they perform.
Predictions: Unicorns of love 70% l Fnatic 30%
